Sermon Series: Inside Out

Begining August 28, 2022 – Emotions, man. They are difficult! Especially after the last several years that we’ve collectively gone through as a society. But emotions don’t have to be difficult. In fact, emotions are a gift, if we will see each differing emotion for the blessings it can offer humanity, as well as the challenges. Join us for a sermon series on some of the emotions we experience on a regular basis, emotions that even Jesus felt during His ministry on earth.

August 28, 2022 – Inside Out: On Fear

There are things in our world that go bump in the night. In fact, there are things that go bump in the brightest of days, which we are frightened of. But because we are followers of Jesus, our fear does not have the final say, for we have been given a gift to last for eternity.

John 2:13-16

Jesus Clears the Temple Courts

13 When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16 To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”

We were made for something more in this world; humanity was created to be in right relationship with God. Every tear that has fallen, every sob cried out over the centuries, is a response to a broken relationship with God. But a day is coming where we will be reunited with the Father, with no more sobs heard around the world.

But did you know that there’s a difference between happiness and joy? One is fleeting, while the other is life giving every single day of the year. Let’s learn how to chase joy together as we conclude our Inside Out Sermon Series.
