Dear Friends,
Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
This past Sunday was a glorious day as we celebrated the Good News that Jesus is Alive! The rain even held off enough for us to gather for our Sunrise Service! All morning long we worshipped, fellowshipped, and declared the power of Jesus’ Resurrection. It was wonderful to see our church full and to have so many visitors!
I’m particularly grateful to our committed staff and volunteers who helped to make all of our Holy Week and Easter events so meaningful. Thank you for your devotion to lifting up the name of Jesus.
But, as glorious as this past Sunday was, remember: Easter is not just one day! Easter is a way of life for those who follow Jesus! We are Easter people and Resurrection is our song! Live out that truth each and every day of your life. It won’t make all your problems go away, but it will keep them in perspective. Jesus has defeated death, and nothing can take that away!
