MESSAGE FROM KATIE
We had a great day in worship on Sunday, as we started our new sermon series for the month of September. I hope you’ll join us for Wednesday night supper this week. Dave and I are beginning a co-led class on the Gospel of Mark for the next five weeks. I did want to clarify because I have gotten some questions – we will be taking turns teaching over the weeks, as we won’t be teaching at the same time on the same days. However, we’ve heard your feedback that you’re interested in more studies (and sermons!) like that, so we will look into doing collaborative teaching and preaching in the future.
This week in The Voice, we have listed our dates and times for the Town Hall meetings for the month of September. I hope you’ll make one of these meetings a priority in your busy schedules, as our lay leaders inform the congregation of how we as a denomination have gotten to where we are, and where we might go.
