MESSAGE FROM RICKY

Dear Friends,

In just a few short days we will gather in various places to celebrate the brith of Jesus. Some of us will gather in homes, surrounded by family and presents. Some of us will be on the road, dodging deer and hoping that our cousins haven’t eaten all the dessert by the time we get to our grandparents’ house. Other of us will be by ourselves, our minds full of bittersweet memories of Christmas past.

Christmas looks different for all of us, and yet, it is the always the same. A child is born into the darkness of this world. One ray of light, piercing the gloom of a world enamored by evil. A small cry from the lips of one who spoke creation into existence. The word made flesh, dwelling among us, full of grace and truth.

Wherever you find yourself this Christmas, I pray that the joy of that child will find you. I pray that his peace will calm your anxious soul. I pray his hope will brighten your tomorrow. I pray that his love will fill your heart to overflowing.

Christ has come! Joy to the World!

Grace and Peace,
Ricky
