MESSAGE FROM RICKY

Happy New Year!

I bet I’m not the only person who is glad to see 2020 in the rear view mirror! As we look to a new year, I’m excited about what God will do in our community of faith. While we’re not yet done with COVID-19, we do know that it will end soon! In the meantime, I urge you to continue to take all the necessary precautions to keep yourself and others safe. 

This coming Sunday, we will resume in-person worship activities. We will have Traditions at 9:00am online at 10:00am and Connections at 11:00am. The 9am and 11am services will be live-streamed as well. There is no need to reserve your worship seat in advance, but we are asking everyone who attends to wear a mask and maintain appropriate distance from others outside of your household.

Additionally, Sunday School classes can meet in-person if they desire. Please contact your class leader for more information on when and where your class is choosing to meet. 

We are planning on resuming an in-person Sunday School option for kids and youth starting on January 10. In order to help us anticipate our needs, we are asking that families email us at [email protected] to let us know the names and ages of those planning to attend Sunday School. Likewise, nursery care will be available from 9am to Noon. 

If you’re not ready to return to in-person activities, that’s ok too! The church is more than a building; it’s the Body of Christ wherever and however we gather in his Name.

My prayer for everyone in 2021, is that we stay well and stay focused on Jesus.
