Dear Friends,
Have you ever heard the expression “break the internet”? It’s when something online becomes so popular that it seems like you see it everywhere.
Well, the expression has become a reality as millions of Christians around our country have begun streaming their Sunday worship services online. It has literally broken the internet, causing some frustration as our livestream worship tends to buffer, drop, or freeze. Although it is less than ideal, rememberer what’s happening; so many people want to connect to God and one another on Sundays that it is “breaking the internet.”
But, just because it’s a global challenge, doesn’t mean we aren’t working on a solution here. We will be working this week to improve the Sunday morning online worship experience. All of us are new to this and so we will learn some things by trial and error. But, our goal remains certain; provide a worship experience that lifts up Jesus and draws us closer to him and one another. Stay tuned!
Also, one more thing, so many of you have stepped up to offer help in a variety of ways that we have more servants than we often have tasks for. Don’t be discouraged, we will call upon you as the needs arise. Thanks for your generosity of spirit and willingness to serve!
Grace and Peace,
Ricky
