Dear Friends,

This coming Sunday, October 4, will be a big day in the life of our church. After a several month delay due to COVID-19, we will be confirming our 7th graders as they make their professions of faith in Jesus Christ.

Confirmation is an important step as these students become full members of our church and make a public commitment to follow Jesus. It’s also a great time for each of us who follow Jesus to recommit ourselves, in fact, we promise to do just that in the confirmation ceremony. Inspired by the faith of these students, we again have the opportunity to say “yes” to Jesus!

So, please join us in person or by watching our live-stream. We’re excited to live broadcast our 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services starting this Sunday. There won’t be a pre-recorded online service, so feel free to tune it at either 9am or 11am (or both!) It will be a great day!

One more thing! Because we have such a large group of confirmands, and we need to be cautious of time, we won’t be celebrating Holy Communion this Sunday. But don’t worry, the Grace of God in Jesus Christ will surely minister to our souls as we see the commitment of these young people! I hope you will join us in person or online this Sunday!

Grace and Peace,
Ricky
