THREE WORDS (Everyone Needs to Hear)
Each week in August we will focus on “three words” that everyone needs to hear (and learn to say). I Love You, I Am Sorry, I Forgive You, You Belong Here. If we can learn these short statements and add them to our vocabulary we might just find our lives are more peaceful and fruitful.

Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9-10
Title: “You Belong Here”
Theme: Deep down we all long for a place to call home. None of us like feeling unwanted, not needed, or left out. The church should be a place where everyone finds a place to belong; not because we’re perfect, but because God has chosen us to be a place where God dwells (and wherever God dwells, God desires all to join in).

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people,[a] in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
