“It takes a village to raise a child” is a proverb that means that an entire community of people must provide for and interact positively with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. Well, this is exactly what happened this week at FUMC VBS! We had so many people, young and old to volunteer their time, talents, gifts, donations, and their love of Jesus with the children. We want to thank each and every one who helped in making this the best VBS possible! We hope we covered all volunteers’ names, but we apologize if your name was left out. A huge thanks to all for making our 2023 Christmas in July VBS a glorious success!
SECOND ANNUAL YOUTH WEEK
Hey everyone! We will be having our second annual youth week this week. Here is a quick rundown of the schedule.
July 18th Tuesday 5 pm-7 pm
We will be having a Game Night at the church bring $5 for subway sandwiches.
July 19th Wednesday 5pm-6pm
We will be hanging out at Indian Lanes, bring $5 for shoes and access to a lane. If you would like additional concessions bring extra $.
July 20th Thursday 5 pm-7 pm
We will be hanging out at the Prestwood’s playing water slide kickball. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel!!
July 21st Friday 6-8pm
We will join the family ministry at Cinnemark, where we will be seeing Elemental. If you’re interested sign up here https://vbspro.events/p/events/fumcmovie
