9:00am: Sunday School
10:00am: Traditional Worship
10:00am: Connection Worship
Sunday School is a time for students to come together in fellowship and learn from our wonderful Sunday School Teachers. We meet together as one group, give announcements for the week, then break into a Junior High (7-8).
6:00 – 8:00pm: United Night (gym, upstairs)*
This is our large group time! This night of fellowship and teaching starts with a meal, a game, worship led by the youth band, and a message. The goal of United Night is to provide a Christ-centered atmosphere for students to come and enjoy the company of one another and participate in worship together.
Tuesday Prayer Breakfast
Tuesday Mornings (during school year)
7:00 – 7:45am: Chick-Fil-A in Clinton
Prayer breakfast is a time to eat, talk, and pray before we head off to school each week! Parents drop students off and we provide transportation to CJHS, SHJH, CCA and CHS. Bring money for food and we’ll provide the devotion.
Wednesday Small Groups
Wednesday Night Small Groups, Spring 2018!
• Church-Wide Supper: 5:15 – 6:00pm, First Methodist gym.
• Group Life: 6:00 – 8:30pm (see group divisions below)
Small group time is for students to go deeper in their faith. Our goal for small groups is to provide a smaller setting for students that will allow them to be a part of a group that will challenge them, support them, pray for them, and encourage them in their faith walk. Our small group leaders care deeply for students, and have committed to being there for those in their small group. Below are the various groups that we currently have.
Contact Hunter for more information of groups.
Trips, Retreats and Events
These are big trips, retreats, and events that we do to promote deeper growth in our relationships with Jesus! Join us for these throughout the year!
Fall Retreat (October):
BigStuf is a five day student conference held in Panama City Beach, Florida, where students get a lot of beach time, fellowship time, and time to learn about their faith.
Throughout the year there are multiple opportunities to serve both locally and abroad on mission trips as a part of the whole church. There are mission outreaches here in the Metro area, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and foreign mission trips to Nicaragua, Cuba, Belarus, and Cambodia. Contact our youth ministry staff for information on how to plug in to a mission trip.
Update , Forms, Important Docs
We hope that in all the things we do each year we help students fall in love with Jesus! However, in order to keep us safe and connected, there are a couple of things we ask from parents so that their child can participate.
