Online and Giving Options
Stewarding Our Resources
We are committed to reaching those who are far from God, unleashing unprecedented levels of compassion into a broken world, and helping each of us become more fully devoted to Jesus Christ. We have the privilege of partnering with God’s work in the world by using our gifts and resources through the local church.

Options for Giving:
Simply place cash or checks in the offering plate during the collection at any weekend service. Be sure to include your name and address on the check or envelope, so that donation credit may be provided for tax purposes. You may also come by the church office at any time during business hours.
Mail your donation to First United Methodist Church at 100 Mt. Salus Dr, Clinton MS 39056. Be sure to include your name and address on the check or envelope so that donation credit may be provided for tax purposes.
Online Giving – There are two ways to give online.
1. Drafting your account allows for a specific dollar amount to be deducted automatically from a checking or savings account. You can set up online giving either as a one-time donation or a recurring gift. Online giving is easy, safe and secure. This option helps individuals and families remain faithful in their giving even when they are out of town or unable to attend a weekend service. You can get the Drafting Form here
More information about online giving can be found on this page: “Frequently Asked Questions “
Where do my donations to First United Methodist Church go?
Our members and regular attenders are asked to give regularly so that the resources for reaching the unchurched in our community and the continual growth of those within our congregation are available.
Will I receive a statement of contribution?
All gifts are tax deductible and we maintain annual giving records for your convenience. You will be mailed a record of your giving quarterly or you may request a record from our office at any time.
How does First Methodist Clinton maintain financial accountability?
Generosity is one of the primary evidences of a maturing disciple. Jesus said, “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” (Matt 6:21) We ask our members to make a covenant with us to be faithful in their giving. Not only in giving financially, but of all gifts in service. Each year we ask each member to re-affirm their faithfulness by renewing that covenant with a prayerful review of how they are fulfilling their commitment to giving and service, as well as how we are doing our part in helping them with that commitment.
Can I make non-cash contributions?
Yes. If you have other means of giving, such as appreciated stock or property, we are happy to receive such a gift and are equipped to process it. If you would like more information or assistance with this type of giving, please contact Vicki Rundlett at firstname.lastname@example.org, or you may call at 601.924.6671.
