MESSAGE FROM RICKY

Dear Friends,

Can you believe that Christmas is next week!! If you could see how far behind I am on my shopping list you would know that this makes me a bit nervous!

But the great thing is that whether we’re ready or not, Christmas will arrive right on time! So, I wanted to make sure you knew what our Christmas Eve plans were for this year. We will have several different ways to experience Christmas Eve worship.

First, we will have come and go Holy Communion available in the Sanctuary from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pastors will be available at the altar rail to serve you, your family, and anyone you would like to invite to join with you for a personal time of Holy Communion.

Second, at 4:00 p.m. in the Worship Center we will have a service of Communion and Candlelight. We ask that all who attend this service wear a mask, and observe social distancing. We will also provide pre-packaged communion elements. There are members of our community who have very serious medical conditions and have not been able to attend worship for nearly two years, so this service is provided with them in mind. It is of course open to anyone who would like to attend, but please do wear a mask.

Third, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary we will have another service of Communion and Candlelight. This service will be open-seating and mask optional. This traditional service will be full of carols, communion, and candlelight.

The 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. services will also be live broadcast on Facebook, You Tube, and our church website.

I hope you join us for one of these ways of worshipping and consider inviting a friend or family member to join you this year. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, may his hope, peace, joy and love be born again in our hearts.

Grace and Peace,
Ricky
