Dear Friends,

This Sunday begins Holy Week, the most significant week in the Christian year. The additional services offer a time of reflection and contemplation on the passion and death of Jesus, preparing our hearts for the joyous celebration of Easter.

The week begins with Palm Sunday. Both our 9:00am and 11:00am worship services will begin with a palm parade, where we invite our children to reenact Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We would love to have any children who would like to participate to gather at the doors of the sanctuary or worship center before the services begin.

The week continues with the Kids’ Easter Eggspedition scavenger hunt Sunday at 2:00pm, our Tuesday Bible Study at Noon in the Gym, then Maundy Thursday at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary, and a Good Friday service in the Worship Center at 6:00pm.

Then on Easter Sunday, April 4, we will gather for our Sunrise Service on the front steps of the church at 6:00am, followed by our 9:00am and 11:00am services. We will expand our seating capacity in the Worship Center and open up additional pews for more seating in the Sanctuary. In the Sanctuary, half of the room will be open seating, and half will be set up to observe social distancing. Also on Easter Sunday, we are resuming our Kids Moments with dismissal to Kids Worship during the service. You kids are more than welcome to remain in the service, or attend Kids Worship!

We’re excited to gather for these special services and to share once again the Good News that Jesus is Alive!

Grace and Peace,
Ricky
