MESSAGE FROM RICKY

Dear Friends,

I wanted to share the news of some new faces who have joined the staff in the past few weeks!

Jeremy Cole has joined our team as the video production assistant. This is a new position focused on our digital and video production. Not only will this help our current worship production, this position will help us expand our online outreach to share the Gospel. Jeremy and his family are long time members of our church and we’re excited to have Jeremy’s expertise. 

Nikki Parsons has been serving as our Interim Director of Kid’s Ministry for over a year! She’s led our program during the heart of COVID-19 and helped to keep our kids connected as well as planning for our return to in person actives. We’re excited to remove the “interim” tag and officially welcome Nikki! 

Grant Dean has signed on to be our summer worship intern. He’ll be assisting Tom Edwards with various worship items as well as helping to lead in worship. He’ll be shipping out to the Naval Academy toward the end of the summer, but we’re excited to have him over the next few weeks. 

Cooper Welch is coming aboard as our summer youth intern. While we are in the process of searching for our next Youth Pastor, Cooper will be an invaluable point of connection for our youth this summer. Cooper and a team of parent volunteers have great summer of activities planned for our students. 

Michele Rittenhouse will be our next Weekday Ministries Director starting June 1. Michele has over 33 years of childcare experience and for the past 7 years has served as Assistant Director of the Morrison Heights Preschool. We’re excited to have her join the Weekday Team and continue the stellar tradition of our program. 

We’ve got a few more open positions that we’re in the process of filling, and I hope to be able to update you again real soon. In the meantime, if you see any of these folks around the church say hello and thank them for all they do (and will do!) for our community of faith.
